Although the following may look complex, in reality this is not so - the downloads of DCom and MDac (if needed) shouldn't take long on broadband, and installation of these two items, once downloaded, is a 'one click' operation apart from accepting Microsoft's Licence Agreement. Once you have the files you need, as described below-
During the Installation of DCOM or MDAC, you will have to accept Microsoft’s End User Licence Agreement. The installation of MDAC may appear to ‘Stop’ at times - there doesn’t appear to be any activity - this is normal - just wait a few seconds and it will continue.

I suggest you Download any required files to the folder that to which you downdoad ShowMan26.Exe. (eg; C:\Temp). I also suggest that you BACK UP these files once you have downloaded them, preferably to a CD, to avoid having to download these files again. You can RUN any of these files directly from the CD in future. Once these files are suitably 'Backed Up' you can then delete them from your hard disk if you wish.
These two files will contain ALL of the extra files needed to allow you to RUN ShowMan 2.6 on WINDOWS 95 and 98.
